Bartosz Kurek (born August 29, 1988 in Wałbrzych) is a Polish men's volleyball player, member of the team that won the 2009 Men's European Volleyball Championship. His father, Adam Kurek, also was a volleyball player, capping several times for Poland.

Career

Kurek began his career in a team from Nysa (2004–2005), then moving to Kedzierzyn-Kozle (2005–2008). Now he plays for Skra Bełchatów, where he won both Championship and Cup of Poland games for the season 2008 - 2009.

On September 14, 2009 he was awarded The Order of Polonia Restituta.[1] The Order was conferred on the following day by the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk.

Bartosz Kurek played with the Poland squad who won the Bronze Medal at the 2011 FIVB World League, winning also the Best Scorer award.[2]
